Pre-Production

Choosing the correct location is very important since I had very specific backgrounds in mind for my photos. It's important to look into different locations and learn all the needed information for the chosen location to be sure that it's the perfect place.

Location release is important because it is a requirement to get the property owners permission before you can film on a property.

Risk assessments are extremely important because they outline any risks on the property, creating awareness and giving solutions on how to say safe if issues arise. They ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Resources lists are important to help keep organised, they remind you of all the equipment needed throughout filming.

Personnel lists are important for keeping track of the people involved.

Shooting schedules are very beneficial for keeping organised and knowing what you're doing on each day, it's especially helpful if you have a more specific timeframe but I kept mine broad since I wouldn't be filming for a while.

Sketches are important because they help give a visual picture of my ideas before I actually take the photos and are helpful to refer back to when taking the photos.
